Piana montażowa poliuretanowa 625g

DRAGON single-component polyurethane foam in a version with a hose applicator for professional installation, sealing and soundproofing. The foam cures when exposed to atmospheric moisture. The product has very good adhesion to most materials used in the construction industry, such as polystyrene, PVC-U profiles, wood and wood-based materials, mineral substrates (brick, concrete, gypsum), metal. The foam has no adhesion to materials such as silicone, Teflon, polyethylene and polypropylene.

APPLICATION: Designed for setting doors and windows. Can be used as thermal insulation for water, sewage and central heating networks and for sealing and installing window sills. Excellent for use as thermal insulation on roofs and flat roofs and for filling gaps (up to 2 cm wide) in thermal insulation when insulating buildings.

Find out how to take advantage

  • 1 Clean the substrate of dust and grease.
  • 2 Shake the container vigorously (approx. 30 sec) before use.
  • 3 Screw the valve onto the pistol applicator.
  • 4 Wet the substrate with water immediately before applying the foam.
  • 5 When applying the foam, the can must be in the ‘upside down’ position.
  • 6 Apply the foam from the bottom to the top of the gap.
  • 7 Remove excess foam after curing (e.g. with a knife).
  • 8 Fill gaps up to 50% depth, but not more than 4 cm per layer, fill wider than 4 cm in layers, wet each layer after application with water.
  • arrow-right Carry out work at temperature (5÷30)°C.
  • arrow-right Once the foam is fully cured, protect it from UV rays, e.g. with silicone compound, plaster or paint.
  • arrow-right Before use, ensure that the can is at a positive temperature (optimum +20°C).
  • arrow-right Full curing time is 24 h.
  • arrow-right Clean dirty tools and fresh stains with acetone.
  • arrow-right Remove dried dirt with an appropriate implement.
